Ship Kee – Authentic local food in Wan Chai
Boasting a recommendation from the Hong Kong Michelin guide and two Sassy team members, Ship Kee has been serving up Cantonese classics since 2021. Chiu Chow Delicacies – Affordable Chazhou cuisine in North Point
This small and busy shop is no five-star hotel, but that hasn’t stopped it from being Michelin-recommended every year since 2018. The cold steamed fish dishes are out of this world (we love the threadfin!), as is the baby oyster congee. The food is an authentic peek into traditional Chaozhou cuisine, without breaking the bank.

One of our tried-and-true wallet-friendly favourites is none other than Tim Ho Wan.
