Juliette Binoche’s Love Triangle: Binoche told The Sunday Times that while filming her new movie Both Sides of the Blade, she drew on inspiration from a long-ago love affair she had. “I loved two men at once,” Juliette Binoche said, declining to give us the receipts. “I’m very good at resisting these questions,” she added. “But what I remember was that it was a nightmare for everyone and I was in the middle of it, and I was hurt as well.” If you like Binoche in this movie, you should check out Paradise Highway.
Remembering Michael: Breaking director Abi Damaris Corbin paid homage to the late Michael K. Williams in an interview with MovieMaker last week around the release of the movie, which stars Williams in one of his last-ever film roles as the crisis negotiator who gets to know John Boyega’s Brian Brown-Easley as he holds up an Atlanta bank. “He’s like, ‘Look, I have your back.’ And he did every single day,” Corbin said of Williams. “It was incredible. I love that man.”

Netflix Turns 25: Happy birthday, Netflix. You and I are both 25 years old. The streaming giant first hit the scene back in 1997 with its original mail-order-DVD business model. I am actually almost 26 now, so that makes me about nine months older than Netflix. But don’t call me Gen-Z — I actually identify with the Zillennial micro-generation. And yes, I do remember the little red Netflix envelopes that would come in the mail. And I would pray that they wouldn’t be scratched by the time I got to watch them.
